Abstract

Symptoms of haemorrhagic septicaemia , a dreaded disease in elephant is recorded in this study which reveals systematic spread of Oedema from jowl to throat , neck , brisket , abdomen and perenical regions. It also records the changes in character / colour of dung , urine , eye , tongue , trunk , body temperature , feeding habit and body condition along with treatment given to cure the disease.

Abstract

In this paper regression equations for volume and height of two clones of Poplar viz. G 48 and D 121 grown in the forest land of the Tarai and Bhabhar region of U.P. have been developed. Based on them the volume tables of these two clones have been prepared.
